NEW YORK — The curtain drew to a close on Fashion Week in the City Thursday night at the 69th Regiment Armory at 68 Lexington Avenue, but not before Marc Jacobs took center stage to present his ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2014. “Your cares and troubles are gone,” intoned Jessica Lange on a recording of the 1929 standard by Milton Ager and Jack Yellen as models streamed up and down and up and down the numerous channels of the runway beneath clouds. “There’ll be no more trouble from now on…” There was no trouble at all for the eight models at Next who featured in the show including Estella Brons, Ola Rudnicka, Rachael Robinson, Langely Fox Hemingway, Esmerelda Seay-Reynolds, Maja Salamon, Dasha Gold, and Lera Tribel. [End scene, curtain closes.]
