PARIS — Femininity took center stage in Giambattista Valli’s Fall 2014 ready-to-wear collection Monday afternoon at Couvent des Cordeliers at 15 rue de l’École de Médecine. If the runway were to provide any hint as to the direction the collection would take, then a plush carpeting in neutral pressed the point emphatically albeit with the softest of possible touches. Short skirts, defined silhouettes, and a palette of pinks and soft reds were the salient features of this very lovely collection. On the afternoon Ola Rudnicka, Maja Salamon, and Hedvig Palm featured on the runway bringing each of their own delicate femininity to the proceedings.
