Kim Peers thrilled readers in the pages of last month’s Interview and this month does the same with a stunning feature in Intermission IX photographed by John Scarisbrick and styled by Tom Van Dorpe. The story’s title “Kim Is Back” heralds the iconic Belgian’s return to modeling, which has been an unqualified success if these and other portraits are any indication. Kim divides her time between modeling, styling, and playing music. “I need to do all three,” she explained to Intermission’s Christina Ahlberg. “I started working as a stylist (I rolled into it) and as it was new to me, I focused and worked as much as possible. After some time, I began to feel like modeling again…For me it works in a very organic way and even though I’m dedicated to things in my life (music, styling, modeling) I also stay open for surprises.” Kim still has plenty of surprises, which as a mother of two boys, vocalist for a punk band, and a model sorta comes with the territory. Kim is back!
