In December of last year Chanel mobilized its army and descended on Dallas, where it presented its Métiers d’Art collection in truly big Texas style. The collection was unmistakably inspired by the Lone Star State, which along with luxury retailer Neiman Marcus, headquartered in Dallas, played an important role for the storied French house back in 1957. Karl Lagerfeld’s collection as ever was widely acclaimed on the runway and this month is given its editorial due in the pages of the June 2014 issue of Vogue Italia in a story featuring Langley Fox Hemingway and Ruby Stewart photographed by Michel Comte. Titled “Wild Chic Style,” the Ayako Yoshida-styled story literally takes the collection to a home on the range where Langley and Ruby duly saddle up and show just what this Chanel collection is made of…giddy-up!
