In case you missed it yesterday, then Grumpy Cat was trotted out on (where else?) social media to add an excessive number exclamation marks to an already maximum volume Rolling Stone cover. The object of Grumpy’s ire you ask, the kitty getting cozy with Lana Del Rey on the latest cover of the veteran music publication. There is plenty to discuss in the megastar’s life, what with her latest album Ultraviolence topping charts and all. “I feel like maybe we should wait until there’s something good to talk about. You know? I just wish you could write about something else,” half-pleaded Lana to Rolling Stone senior writer Brian Hitt. “There has to be someone else to be the cover story. Like, there has to be. Anybody.” Try as Lana might to avert the world’s adoring gaze, the world is both watching and liking. This latest cover alone has garnered over 230K Likes on the magazine’s Facebook and as with all things Lana is certain to climb even higher. The issue hits newsstands this Friday.
