Situated around Place Vendôme in Paris are no fewer than 28 hôtels particuliers, chief amongst the lot at N°19 is Hôtel D’Évreux. This 18th century structure provides a most resplendent backdrop for an haute couture story in the Alta Moda Supplement to the September 2014 issue of Vogue Italia featuring Langley Fox Hemingway photographed by Michel Comte. Titled “So Precious,” the Ayako Yoshida-styled story goes for a delicate, if not playful approach to the Fall 2014 Couture collections. Animal masks, a life-size wooden match, mylar helium balloons, this story well could come from the limitless mind of the illustrator and artist on the page. For a dreamy girl who calls home not far from Next Los Angeles, the salons of Paris could not be more firmly in her grasp, which when printed on the page looks truly so precious.
