Although the title of this Vogue Japan editorial featuring Meghan Collison photographed by Mark Segal owes a great deal to a novel about a certain Stephen Daedalus, the story itself is visually more indebted to the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat. The story takes artistic license in its use of a crown illustrated in the style of the late Haitian-American artist. The effect bestows a dash of regality to proceedings, which Meghan rightfully assumes atop a throne that is all her own.
