Cosmopolitanism is fancy word for being at ease in various countries and cultures — an international take on being cool like that, in other words. Finnish model Suvi Koponen exudes this familiar cool in the pages of next month’s Vogue Deutsch in the cover story photographed by the German photography duo Claudia Knoepfel & Stefan Indlekofer. Titled “Weltoffen,” or “cosmopolitan” auf Deutch, the Nicola Knels-styled story carefully blends streetwear with traditional embellishments (Ethno-Elementen). The result is nothing short of sophistication, which Suvi gracefully achieves over the course of 16 pages. Wunderbar!
