In the February 2014 issue of Vogue Japan Maja Salamon steps before the lens of Paolo Roversi for what is a fascinating study of form in four parts. Drawing exclusively from Rei Kawakubo’s ambitious Comme des Garçons collection for spring, stylist Nicoletta Santoro fashions four looks that realize the promise of the story’s title “The Expression of Form.” The rich blacks of the collection are sublimely offset by Maja with her smartly-tied platinum blonde hair. Roversi’s command of color and light allied with the fairness of Maja in particular makes this expression a veritable masterclass on the subject of form.
