PARIS — The first of a pair of Wednesdays during fashion week in the French capital is the sole concern of the Swedish clothier titan H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB, known the world over by its catchy letters H&M. The occasion at Grand Palais was the H&M Studio A/W 2014 collection presented on a diamond plate steel runway underneath video screens and billboards that would not look out of place in Times Square or on the Las Vegas strip — this genius was the work of the peerless Bureau Betak, which designed and produced the show. The collection hit the runway to a live performance by Hollysiz, who is pictured backstage in this video warming up. A trio of girls at Next including Ola Rudnicka, Thairine García, and Sabrina Ioffreda also hit the runway to make the collection one of a number of bright spots on the this season’s fashion calendar.
