The volume is raised considerably on the legacy of Marie Antoinette in the latest issue of Vogue Deutsch in a story featuring Maja Salamon, Holly Rose, and Meghan Collison. The creative alliance between hair virtuoso Luigi Murenu and photography duo Daniele + Iango once again yields stunning results of near historic proportion. Titled “Kopfarbeit,” literally “brain work” auf Deutsch, the Patti Wilson-styled story draws from amongst others Chanel couture collections of yore. That the story opens with a dress from the Spring 2010 collection is but a detail compared to the manner in which Maja, Holly Rose, and Meghan gracefully wear their majestic coifs and yet thankfully avoid the same fate of the wife of Louis XVI.
