The pantheon of Mother Goose greats are given their due in the April 2014 issue of W in a story by Tim Walker and Edward Enninful featuring Ola Rudnicka and Esmeralda Seay-Reynolds. “All dolled up and no place to go,” begins the couture story, which is staged in a fairytale-like setting designed by set and costume designer Gary Card. Ola opens the story wearing an emerald green dress from Gaultier Paris and to the left is shown wearing a Schiaparelli Haute Couture suit and shoes. Esmeralda enters the story wearing a Maison Martin Margiela Artisanal jacket and skirt. The story is rather endearing thanks in part to the clever production, but otherwise through Ola and Esmeralda never loses sight of its commitments to high fashion.
