2014 has been an active year for Angel Haze. Last month she released a music video for her powerful single “A Tribe Called Red” off her debut album Dirty Gold. The intervening weeks saw her perform the song “Weapon” with English rockers Bastille at Coachella. Yesterday, i-D.co caught up with Angel Haze for an interview. “I’m having the time of my f— life right now. I don’t want to stop. If I stop then I’ll hate myself. But I don’t want to stop.” In speaking with i-D’s Milly McMahon, Angel also sets the record straight about whether or not she relies on a stylist — “I take care of my own wardrobe.” Despite her hectic schedule and sleepless nights, Angel’s personal style is nothing to be delegated, which is one of myriad reasons that makes her a favorite of so many.
