The tenth issue of Twin is no doubt a special creature, endowed with all manner of gifts. Open the cover, the edition with Meghan Collison, page forward until reaching the feature on Langley Fox by photographer Rory Payne. Aptly titled “The Adventures of Langley Fox,” this Verity Parker-styled story paints the ever talented illustrator and model in rich, inky tones, not unlike her illustrations, the likes of which have been commissioned by Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, and more. Outside of the artist’s studio, Langley has been the toast of the runway where during the Fall 2014 ready-to-wear season she walked for Marc Jacobs, Giles, and exclusively for Saint Laurent. Langley has not, however lost sight of her passion for art. “I hope that my work possesses a mythical but eerie Tim Burton-esque quality, because I love all of his work. I guess I’m still a child at heart.”
