In another 36-48 hours the YouTube views will likely have climbed into the stratosphere, but for now are poised at the mythical 301+ views as the video-sharing platform verifies the galactic scale of play requests flooding it. Lana gave a glimpse of the video on her Instagram five days ago, which depicted her in a sunny glade wearing a bridal gown. The video proper is shot in handheld style from the perspective of Lana’s groom on the couple’s wedding day as they make their way to a Spanish Colonial chapel. Lana looks hopeful, truly happy on her wedding day, which creates a delicious tension with the dark undercurrents of the song’s lyrics. Listen to those sirens…
