For anyone with a passing interest in fashion and social media, artist and creative director Doug Abraham is likely already a household name. This status was all but confirmed in May of this year when the CFDA nominated Abraham for its first-ever Fashion Instagrammer of the Year award. Abraham’s sharp eye and wry wit that have brought such poignancy to his digital cut-ups will be doing the same for Next Management’s Spring 2015 show package according to an exclusive in today’s WWD. “Everyone in the industry is familiar with agency show cards and how it works, but I wanted to create something a little more arresting than just [the typical] model Polaroids,” Abraham said speaking to WWD. “It was about finding some way to create an original image without completely taking away the focus from the girl.” The show package is set to go out this week.
