MILAN — The very status of bullfighting can be reasonably gauged by the nearly requisite qualifications that accompany any mentions of the practice.  Customs that fall out of favor, however almost inevitably live to see another day in some other guise. This much was true Sunday afternoon at the Metropol where Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana presented their Spring 2015 women’s collection that went for the sexier side of corrida de toros at the expense of its ritual slaughter aspects. Beauty was off the charts as ever at the house whose Italian heart is worn forever firmly on its sleeve. The respective teams of Guido and Pat McGrath worked steadily at preparing a casting that numbered well over 50 models and featured eight at Next including Blanca Padilla, Giulia, Agne Konciute, Marta Płaczek, Ola Rudnicka, Roxy, Binx, and Hedvig Palm. The beauty look included hair tied back with a center part, strong brow, and a toreador red lip, which complemented the collection with a heavy Spanish accent. Mercifully for any bulls ambling about the streets of Milan, none were harmed in presenting the collection.
