Mesh and fur are two materials that predominate the Fall 2014 ready-to-wear collections and are given their moment in the October 2014 issue of L’Officiel Paris in a story featuring Crista Cober photographed by Laurence Ellis. There is already plenty to love about this issue, what with Suki Waterhouse on the cover and an interview with Saif Mahdhi, but this story, titled en anglais “The Monochrome Set,” gets down to the business of modeling great clothes. To that end, Crista opens the story wearing a cape in Mongolian lamb along with sweater, skirt, and trouser in wool and ribbed cashmere by Sonia Rykiel. There is more to savor in this story in the form of cable knits and tweed, which Crista brings to life over the course of this monochrome set.
