Keen observers of the runway will no doubt remember Daphne Simons from October of last year in Paris. Daphne had a worldwide exclusive to walk for Louis Vuitton and fast forward three months there she is starring in the French fashion house’s Spring 2015 campaign photographed by Juergen Teller. “Series 2,” as the brand’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière calls it, addresses the “many facets of women.” To that end, Ghesquière marshaled the considerable talents of three photographers including the aforementioned Teller, Annie Leibovitz, and Bruce Weber. Daphne’s portion of the campaign was shot in a Parisian townhouse in the signature style of the German master. This high-profile advertising appearance for Daphne represents a brilliant culmination to a very fine Spring 2015 runway season and perfectly anoints her for the season to come.
