Ask a census taker and he or she will explain that the percentage of people living in New York City who primarily speak Spanish is around 25%. This bit of demography is not lost on the editorial team at Vogue España in the February 2015 issue (the same edition with Blanca Padilla on the cover!). Case in point is the Spring 2015 collections story titled “Nueva York” by photography duo Santiago & Mauricio featuring none other than Crista Cober. Shot in Manhattan, the story makes handy use of the urban backdrop to bring the finery of the likes of Tom Ford (pictured) on through to Oscar De La Renta into sharp relief. Whether or not you’re north of 96 Street and east of 5 Avenue, Crista Cober will make Nueva York intelligible to all in the latest Vogue España.
