Any readers who scrolled through Instagram on a Thursday morning (today) likely caught a glimpse of Ola Rudnicka were they also following @nextmodels. A photo of the Polish beauty by Richard Burbridge in this month’s Vogue Italia was posted and duly brought in more than 1500 likes in a couple hours. Breathtaking beauty is clearly Ola’s strong suit and not limited to the editorial page, but can as well be seen in this season’s Tru Trussardi campaign by Roe Ethridge. The photographer whose fine art CV boasts considerable entries including The Whitney Biennial (2008) and Museum of Modern Art, New York (2010) always brings a certain artistry to his work and this campaign is no different. Ola is pictured seated at a 45-degree angle in a wooden chair in the corner of a tiled room. This photo is then overlaid against a floral backdrop. Layers upon layers, Ola here, Ola there, the model’s ubiquity is increasingly an inescapable reality.
