There is more to savor in the March 2015 issue of Vogue, namely the Hamish Bowles interview with John Galliano. Few comeback stories have been as eagerly anticipated as the erstwhile Dior designer’s has after having crashed out of favor in 2011 following the release of a video in which he is shown hurling anti-Semitic abuse at patrons of a café in Paris. The road to rehabilation for Galliano would be long and at times arduous, but early signs are promising following his lead design appointment to Maison Margiela. The interview by Bowles is a must-read this month and not least because it carries with it a portrait by Craig McDean of Galliano’s inaugural collection for Maison Margiela featuring none other than Grace Hartzel. Pick up the latest issue of Vogue and read the interview in between the latest ready-to-wear show and the next.
