MILAN — This was to be a collection written in the stars in more ways than one. Firstly, Peter Dundas called his women’s Fall / Winter 2015 collection “The Zodiac Collection,” and secondly, this was to be his final collection for the label founded on the island of Capri in the late 1940s. This label has always celebrated beauty, which under the direction of Dundas was expressed in terms that were unapologetically sexy. This was certainly the case Saturday night when Grace Hartzel and Thairine García both featured on the runway at Palazzo Serbelloni, the Neoclassical palace whose high ceilings glimmer with gold. Where Peter Dundas goes from here is anyone’s guess, but wherever he next goes his swan song of a collection and overall contribution to the Pucci legacy will not be forgotten.
