The origins of the Polish postal service known as Poczta Polska date back to the 16th century when Sigismund II Augustus, the then King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania, founded the service in 1558. Suffice it to say the post (and just about everything else in the world) has undergone myriad changes throughout the centuries, but one thing has not changed, namely that is the post’s indefatigable commitment to delivering mail of the utmost importance. This month that mission rings most true as Poczta Polska delivers native ELLE subscribers the special subscriber edition June 2015 cover featuring Zuzanna Bijoch photographed by Agata Pospieszyńska. Zuzanna also celebrates her 21st birthday in June, which means Poczta Polska will be delivering not only subscriber covers, but also plenty of birthday cards. Sto lat, Zuza!
