The affinity Binx and Olivier Rousteing have for one another is well established. Style.com spotlighted the pair’s rapport back in March of this year when the Balmain creative designer cited this founding member of his Balmain Army as an inspiration, “When I design the collection, I often have [Binx] in mind.” The latest issue of Interview Germany expands upon this relationship in its June 2015 cover story in which Binx interviews Olivier. Photographed in a 1970s era penthouse in Paris, the story photographed by Benjamin Alexander Huseby and styled by Jodie Barnes puts the inherent sexiness of Olivier’s clothing worn by Binx into sharp relief. “Binx is a Balmain-Girl: glamorous and boyish, strong and fragile. Full of contradictions,” says Olivier. It is not difficult to agree, which is a further testament to the strength of this relationship between designer and muse.
