Unless you already reside in one of the 20 arrondissements that comprise Paris, then chances are very good that you might fancy visiting the French capital during your lifetime. Better yet would even be to spend a week to 10 staying with a dear friend and resident of the city. Fanciful as it sounds the Equipment Fall 2015 campaign starring Caroline de Maigret all but achieves this effect without actually flying nonstop to Paris Charles de Gaulle. The latest campaign for the label founded in 1976 by Christian Restoin is collaboration between photographer Bertrand Le Pluard and Caroline herself, who acted as both stylist and star. “Equipment wanted to keep that ‘effortless Parisian’ feeling I’m known for. With Bertrand Le Pluard, the photographer and my teammate at CDM/BLP, we wanted to keep that feeling but also give the girl an edge, to really show her as a woman, embracing her neurosis, as we all have—or at least I do!—and living her life as an adventure, like I believe we have to try living it,” said Caroline speaking with Style.com. Chic, authentic, transportive — this campaign ticks all the boxes in only a singular way Caroline de Maigret can do.
