Anyone even casually scrolling through Instagram this weekend likely would have caught it. With the London Collections Men shows running at full tilt there was not much else at play, but there was one image that a recent adopter of Instagram posted that has since launched what could be thousands more. Designer Marc Jacobs joined the image sharing service in March and has quickly found his stride as evidenced in breaking his signature label’s Fall 2015 campaign photographed by David Sims featuring amongst others Riley Montana and Grace Simmons. The brand followed up today by posting the same evocative image shot on a set designed by Stefan Beckman that distills his runway from February of this year. The group of stately ladies gone askew have been dubbed the cabine, “These are some of the girls who inspired me this season. I thank them, and all the rest for their patience and hard work. They bring our clothes to life, and turn the runway into theatre.”
