As any meteorologist will tell you, summer is the warmest season of the year. The relationship planet earth has with the sun is such that between June and August temperatures will climb to levels that make clothing anything more substantial than a shred of nylon unwearable. Grazia France knows as much and goes at summer all guns blazing in a mostly swimwear storying featuring Dutch beauty Anouk De Heer. Photographed by Martin Lidell, the story titled “The Endless Summer” does not so much reprise Bruce Brown’s 1966 surfing classic of the same name as it simply revels in a seemingly unending stretch of days at the seaside. The looks are more Bohemian than they are sporty, which rightly suits Anouk with her beachy hair and sun-kissed skin. The summer will ultimately draw to a close come September, but this story ought to extend belief in it indefinitely.
