Karl Lagerfeld’s Métiers d’Art Paris-Salzburg collection for Chanel is simply the gift that keeps on giving. Der Kaiser first showed the collection in December of last year in Salzburg and then again in New York in April. The collection lives on in print this month in the August 2015 issue of Harper’s Bazaar México in a cover featuring Thairine García wearing, you guessed it, Chanel. Photographed by David Schulze and styled by Michaela Dosamentes, the cover and its corresponding cover story “Free Spirit” makes the most of floral arrangements and blooming wildflowers that call to mind an Alpine holiday in late August. Thairine for her part is irresistible and will surely have readers clamoring for climbing rope and carabiners — anything to scale the dizzying heights already achieved by Thairine.
