Any readers born no further back than the first Clinton administration can be forgiven for not knowing exactly who Lucky Blue is dressed like in the September 2015 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Long story short, Lucky supremely decked out as the late American pianist Liberace in a story by Carine Roitfeld and Jean-Paul Goude. Perched on a diminutive piano bench before a toy grand replete with electric candelabra, a bedazzled Lucky animatedly grins at the camera, this is his moment to shine. Shine Lucky does alongside the story’s other icons dressed as historical legends that include amongst others Oprah Winfrey as Glinda the Good Witch, Mariah Carey as Marie Antoinette, and Jessica Chastain as Joan of Arc.
