NEW YORK — Deconstructed national flags, aeronautics, and whilst were at it, Rio 2016, the Lacoste Spring / Summer 2016 collection by Felipe Oliveira Baptista had it all and with an added emphasis on fluid motion. Enter Binx, who stepped up Saturday morning at Spring Studios in Tribeca to close the show, effortlessly, it should be added. “The collection offers a new version of chic. Outfits are worn without boundaries between sport and city, day and evening, weekday and weekend,” states the precision threaded, triangular cut runway program. “They privilege creativity and inventiveness to cater all contemporary lifestyles with relaxed elegance.” In other words, Binx to a T. Nobody does it better. Also featuring on the runway for Lacoste were Lineisy Montero, Hedvig Palm, and Gaby Loader.
