Winter won’t visit earth’s Northern Hemisphere for another 67 days, but thankfully that has not kept fashion’s print media from dipping its proverbial suede boots in the coming season. Ola Rudnicka makes easy work of the colder months in the November 2015 issue of Harper’s Bazaar in a story by photographer Norman Jean Roy and fashion editor Natasha Royt. Ola opens the story walking alongside a snow-covered train platform next to a locomotive straight out of Polar Express. There, tone set. Ola is pictured wearing an ensemble from the Marc Jacobs Fall / Winter 2015 collection and carrying a trunk by Bally. The story eventually leaves the station and heads for the glacier, which enables to the story and season to really catch fire as suggested by the title “Winter Heats Up.” Winter is a ways off, but readers would do well to follow Ola’s most attractive lead.
