Couture is often hailed as the last vestige of true art in fashion and with the Fall 2015 collections shown in Paris this past July it is not difficult to agree. The December 2015 issue of Vogue Russia celebrates a selection of these very collections in a story by photographer Arno Frugier featuring  Liza O and Odette P. The Mélanie Huynh-styled story, the title of which loosely translates from Russian as “My Life in Art,” creates a spectacle that is arguably worthy of space in a museum or gallery. Case in point the portrait (pictured) in which Liza is shown wearing Armani Privé. The image of course calls to mind the Madonna, which has been painted innumerably over the centuries. Recreated here in the plumes of feathers crafted by Giorgio Armani, the Madonna comes to life in all its flourishing modernity. All told, this story is worth the price of admission and a self-guided audio tour.
