As improbable as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies might sound, it is a dead certainty for the silver screen in 2016. The January 2016 issue of Marie Claire celebrates three of the film’s stars including Suki Waterhouse with a trio of covers by photographer Simon Bennett. As the movie’s title suggests, the story is a mashup of genres wherein Jane Austen’s 19th-century novel is set amidst a zombie apocalypse. Suki plays character Kitty Bennet, who along with her sisters are trained in martial arts. Together they call upon their lethal skill set to ward of the rising tide of undead. Suki is versed in karate as it so happens and spent her childhood practicing karate, which her father also taught at a local center. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies hits cinemas in the United States on Friday, 5 February 2016.
