Paraphrasing Brad Pitt’s Tyler Durden from David Fincher’s 1999 film Fight Club, “if this is your first night at flight club, you have to take flight.” Grace Hartzel quite nearly does just that in the February 2016 issue of Vogue in a story by photographer Mikael Jansson and Tabitha Simmons handily enough titled “Flight Club.” Substitute underground human bloodsport with bomber jackets for spring and you pretty much have this story minus Tyler’s homemade soap. Grace opens the story wearing a jacket by Dries Van Noten and later appears in a number by Victoria Beckham (both pictured). Although this Vogue story in no way sheds blood, Grace certainly goes a long way toward raising it.
