Alexa Chung knows a thing or two about fashion collaborations, she all but pioneered the concept in the age of social media. News of Alexa’s latest collaboration for M&S broke online today at British Vogue where it was reported the collection was inspired by the vast archives of the high street retail giant. Archive by Alexa, as it is called, is said to include 31 ready-to-wear items that will be made available in April of this year. “It was so fun to be given the keys to the M&S archive and such a treat to get to cherry pick the very best of their vast collection of pieces,” she said speaking to British Vogue about the process that lead to the creation of the collection.
