MILAN — It would not be Fashion Week in Milan without a day of driving rain any more than it would be without a Marni runway show. An editor favorite, this fixture of the Milan fashion calendar invariably provides editors and forward thinkers alike a forecast of the season that remains and the one to come. This much anyway was the case Sunday morning with temperatures barely climbing above 4°C (39°F) and precipitation at 100%, an added pretext when none were needed to go indoors to see Consuelo Castiglioni’s collection for Fall / Winter 2016 hit the runway for the first time. Walking Sunday morning in the show were no fewer than eight models across the Next network including Selena Forrest, Sophia Friesen, Lineisy Montero, Klementyna Dmowska, Maisie Dunlop, Wangy, Jay Wright, and of course the show closer herself, Julie Hoomans. The Dutch beauty not more than 24 hours earlier closed the Diesel Black Gold runway show.
