Grace Hartzel went blonde back in late February of this year for the Saint Laurent advertising campaign that broke last month. Other than the portraits by Hedi Slimane and the odd Instagram from Grace, there has been little else in the public record of her new hair color. The May 2016 issue of Vogue, however makes strides in righting that record in its regular “Moment of the Month” feature on what else, but pleats. Photographed by Theo Wenner and styled by Alex Harrington, this portrait takes place somewhere between Paris and the imagination (likely an amalgam for several shots with Notre Dame in the background), with Grace wearing a pleated skirt by ZAC Zac Posen, which is paired with a sleeveless sweater and shoes, both by Marni. There is a smile on Grace’s face bathed in the warm sunlight of early spring, which all told makes for a perfect entry into the chapter of her career as a blonde.
