The automobile industry in Europe is largely dominated by Germany, home to Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, and more. The number two European nation to produce automobiles, however is none other than Spain. Fitting, then there is a museum currently being erected in Madrid to celebrate all things automotive and what is more that construction site serves as the setting for an editorial running in the June 2016 issue of Wallpaper* featuring Jane Moseley. Photographed by Jan Lehner, the story titled “Ahead of the Curve” is set at the nascent Museo de Automoción La Torre designed by architects Emilio Tuñón and Luis M Mansilla. The unadorned concrete walls provide an irresistible backdrop for Jane to come to fore as she does wearing a leather coat and turtleneck by Prada (pictured). This museum won’t be open to the public until at least 2018, but in the mean time readers could certainly do worse than thumb through Jane’s delightful story. Vroom!
