Editors and the rest of us fell in love with Jane Moseley in March of this year when she walked in the runway show for Demna Gvasalia’s inaugural Balenciaga collection. Jane was an exclusive to that show, which to no one’s surprise piqued widespread interest in the model, fine artist, and daughter of cult horror actor Bill Moseley. In her Next Questions interview last month she admitted she is “not the type of person that wakes up every morning and goes to the studio,” but that does not also mean she doesn’t embellish every other endeavor of hers with a singular artistry. The June 2016 issue of Vogue Korea features a Balenciaga Pre-Fall story with Jane by photographer Hyea W. Kang. Shot in Manhattan’s Chinatown, the story is a testament to Jane’s ability to navigate that not infrequently tricky runway-to-page gap. Jane’s vivid blue eyes (pictured) burn with an intensity that rise far above the din of the backdrop of garish Chinese bric-a-brac. World, prepare to be enamored once again.
