The balletic movement that played out on the runway for Valentino back in March months later has migrated to the page for the Fall / Winter 2016 advertising campaign photographed by Steven Meisel featuring amongst others Katlin Aas. News this week of Maria Grazia Chiuri’s appointment as Dior’s seventh couturier casts this campaign in a valedictory light as her final women’s ready-to-wear collection for the the Roman house for which she was a co-creative director with Pierpaolo Piccioli for 17 years. Lithe, full of grace, Katlin accentuates the very notes struck by this pair of designers for this collection.
