In a world awash in models “off-duty” photos one could be left to wonder about those other lithe creatures, dancers, when they are off duty. Vogue Australia takes up the call in its August 2016 issue in a story by photographer Alexi Lubomirski featuring Lina Hoss. Aptly titled “Dancer Off-Duty,” this Natasha Royt-styled story visits Lina in the ballet studio for the coming season’s latest in layered looks “with attitude.” To that end, Lina (pictured) layers up with a dress by Dior worn over a simple camisole by American Apparel and, yes, legwarmers by Capezio. She might be off duty for this feature, but grace and movement never truly leave Lina.
