As a mega luxury brand that has built an empire on the strength of its luggage, handbags, and virtually any leather accessory capable of carrying its monogrammed logo, fragrance has never been much a concern for Louis Vuitton. Following nearly a century since its last perfumes had been introduced that is all about to change with the release of Les Parfums, a collection of seven women’s scents starting next week in some 200 of its stores across the world. The September 2016 issue of Vogue Paris marks the occasion with a two-page feature with none other than Arizona Muse photographed by Ben Hassett. Pictured behind a bottle of Dans La Peau, the fragrance is said to carry an infusion of leather, an invitation to explore the senses. With the success of these fragrances all but certain, luxury consumers are not likely to have to wait another century for something newer in this category from Louis Vuitton.
