NEW YORK — Friday afternoon up on the fifth at Spring Studios in the newly christened Spring Place, that intimate members only affair in which creation and collaboration are strongly encouraged amongst its card carrying business, fashion, and entertainment professionals, Jason Wu presented his women’s Spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection. As a site for a runway show, the switch from the grander runway with its spillover seating, standing, and just plain hanging-from-the-rafters, Spring Place gave the select invitation holders a much closer look at these sophisticated clothes, oozing with elegant details, according folds, and flourishes. On the afternoon Julie Hoomans, Binx, Odette Pavlova, Selena Forrest, Grace Hartzel, and Lineisy Montero all featured on the runway. After the show, two things are certain, these clothes will be bought and memberships to the space will be sold.
