NEW YORK — Love is in the air, by the time the winter thaw takes hold in early spring it is difficult to not believe this is the case. Michael Kors put this belief into practice for his Spring 2017 runway show Wednesday morning at Spring Studios. As if to emphasize this airborne reality, the celebrated American designer marshaled the considerable armaments of singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright to perform a number of standards from the the catwalk. Live music has an immediacy that cannot be replicated, but a live performance from a living great is something to truly savor, an experience that will animate and elevate everything that comes into contact with it. On the runway that Wednesday morning, were seven models from Next including Lia Pavlova, Julie Hoomans, Katlin Aas, Lineisy Montero, Jay Wright, Grace Hartzel, and Marjan Jonkman. It is spring…the sun is shining, come on get happy!
