Founded in 1946, Holiday sent writers and photographers on assignment all over the world and for the next 30 years until its closure in 1977 established the magazine’s reputation as a purveyor of distinguished photography and writing. Two years ago in 2014 Holiday reopened itself as a viable international biannual title following its dormancy of nearly four decades. Not only would the new Holiday include literary contributions, but it would also feature fashion editorials. The latest issue of Holiday includes one such fashion editorial featuring none other than Selena Forrest photographed by Joseph Szabo on location in Queens. Selena is no stranger to New York’s second most populous borough (behind Brooklyn) having shot the latest DKNY advertising campaign in Ozone Park and proves herself all but a local in this story titled “Up Our Street.”
