Although John Keats’s poem “Endymion” (1818) is not widely regarded as the English Romantic poet’s finest work, its opening line “A thing of beauty is a joy for ever” persists as poetic treacle on social media. Surely Keats could not have envisaged one day seeing his letters rendered in garish script over top stock imagery of a sunset or floral bouquet. Mercifully the November 2016 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK has higher aspirations for Keats as evidenced in this couture story featuring Hedvig Palm photographed by Regan Cameron. Hedvig is pictured wearing the latest gowns from the latest collections including those of Givenchy, Givenchy, and Giambattista Valli (pictured). The organza dress is worn with gold, white gold, tourmaline, and ruby earrings. Romance to the maximum, Hedvig provides the very beauty that in fact is a joy for ever.
