Stylishness and coolness are conceivably two desirable states of being amongst Vogue Italia readership. The magazine entered circulation a little over a half century ago amidst Italy’s postwar economic boom just as stylishness and coolness became marketable. Forecasting emerging trends that are both stylish and cool have always been important to the magazine and none more so than in its November 2016 issue in a story titled, wait for it, “Stylish and Cool,” featuring Elizabeth Moore and Leila Goldkuhl amongst others. Photographed by Christian MacDonald and styled by Alex White, the story puts a premium evoking both qualities in the story’s title. To that end, this all Tod’s editorial showcases the latest collection by the Italian luxury brand’s creative direction Alessandra Facchinetti. Plaids, metal embellishments, inspired tailoring, all are present in these looks and worn with effortless style and cool by Elizabeth and Leila.
