When J.K. Rowling is not busy dressing down mindless bullies on Twitter, she is penning some of the most successful stories in print today. Her latest story adapted for the silver screen is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) takes place in 1920s New York long before a young wizard named Harry Potter ever even took up sorcery. The December 2016 issue of Vogue has joined the enthusiasm for the film in the buildup to its wide release on Friday with a specially themed story by Annie Leibovitz that features actor Eddie Redmayne and a host of models including Grace Hartzel. For her part, Grace (pictured) contributes her own take on the fantastic wearing a sculptural dress and a shoe by Comme des Garçons. Whether Beasts reaches the dizzying heights of Potter is an open question, but if it is anywhere near as fantastic as this story, then it could well.
