There are precious few days left in what many consider to be a year to forget, but all the same there is time enough (any excuse, right?) to trot out a 1984 single by German synth poppers Alphaville to introduce the February 2017 cover of Vogue Japan. Full marks to everyone who penciled in “Big in Japan” on their response cards, because that is the correct answer to characterize this super deluxe fold-out cover by Luigi and Iango featuring no fewer than four models at Next including Odette Pavlova, Agnes Åkerlund, Marjan Jonkman, and Selena Forrest. The girls are are all pictured wearing Dior from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first ever collection for the storied French house. If 2016 was found to be wanting, then 2017 at the very least holds out a promise of a dynamite cover of Vogue Japan that ought to make just about everyone rave.
